That's wonderful! Being able to enjoy such an authentic bowl of beef noodle soup abroad is truly a blessing. From the presentation to the ingredients, everything is thoughtfully prepared—it’s clear the chef understands and respects the essence of Taiwanese flavors. Especially the pickled mustard greens and thick-cut beef shank—it's rare to find such an "authentic" rendition in Chinese restaurants overseas.

This place is amazing. Their beef noodle soup is my favorite, it’s delicious! (And you get free noodle refills if you’re extra hungry!) Also they have great specials every day of the week, the store is cozy with nice music playing and the staff are super nice!!

The food was great and the staff was super friendly and attentive. We got small cups of hot chicken soup for free which was great in the cold weather. They even gave us a red envelope with a coupon inside for Lunar New Year. Definitely coming back soon!

I had a fantastic experience at Gulp! The food was absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were generous (noodles came with free refills!) On a particularly chilly day, we were warmly welcomed with free hot chicken soup, which was so comforting! The servers were friendly and attentive, and especially helpful, walking us through the daily promotions and explaining the menu options. I also tried their bubble tea, and it was great! Definitely recommended!

Got the UberEats 50% off deal here for the set for two. The braised pork noodle is so good! Noodles are so fresh and chewy. Bentos are fantastic, love the fresh vegetables and the pickled radishes. The friend chicken and pork cutlets are delicious and so is the popcorn chicken. I got the sea salt cream jasmine green tea and loved it! The salty sweet combination creates such a unique, refreshing flavor.

Made my second visit to Gulp—this time at their Jersey City location! I was once again blown away by how authentic their Taiwanese food is. It tasted just like the street food I remember from my trips to Taiwan. The nostalgia hit hard. They offer daily deals, such as BOGO lu rou noodle/BOGO 50% off lu rou fan, free combo upgrade for beef noodle soup, free sweet potato fries (love it), and more! Conveniently located near Grove St, this location is more spacious and has an expanded menu. I can totally see myself coming here all the time once I move to JC. I still love their LIC location, which is right next to 929 Bar! *Lu Rou Fan Bento 滷肉飯便當 14 *** My boyfriend and I almost fought over the lu rou fan—we both loved it way too much. It was loaded with braised minced pork, so every bite came with plenty of meat. I also loved the addition of braised veggies and vermicelli, which added extra layers of flavor. But the real game-changer was the spicy pickled mustard greens. They were dangerously addictive. And they’re FREE, so you can pile on as much as you want (sorry but I basically inhaled the whole jar). *Fried Chicken Cutlet 香雞排 8 *** We were told to try their fried chicken, and so glad we did. We were so impressed that we’re already planning to come back for the chicken cutlet bento. Crispy, juicy, and equivalent to the size of my face. Perfectly seasoned with the signature five-spice kick and basils. *Beef Noodle Soup 牛肉麵 19 Easily one of the taiwanese spots in NYC/JC for authentic beef noodle soup. The bowl came with four thick slices of tender, braised beef shank. I only wished they could add radish, carrots, and tomatoes to the broth for a sweet veggie flavor. *Radish Cake 脆皮蘿蔔糕 8 * *Taiwanese Sausage 台灣香腸 4 * *Fried Platter 炸物拼盤 14 We grabbed a couple of appetizers to share, and they instantly brought me back to the night markets in Taiwan. My favorite was the chewy radish cake with xo-sauce. *Sea Salt Cream Black Tea 海鹽奶蓋古早味紅茶 4.5 * *Fruit Green Tea 特調水果茶 4.5 Their drinks are so cheap compared to many boba spots!? You can add 1 for boba/lychee jelly, or 1.5 for passionfruit popping jelly/sea salt cream. Highly recommend their sea salt cream black tea, their #1 bestselling drink.

This place is a hidden gem! I’ve had Taiwanese beef noodle soup in a lot of places, but this one hits different. The broth is incredibly rich and flavorful — slow-cooked with real depth, not just salty like some places. The beef is super tender, and the noodles have that perfect chewy bite. Also loved the small side dishes and how friendly the staff were. Definitely coming back — comfort food at its finest!
